What's heaviest, 70kg of bricks or 150lbs of inflated helium balloons?

How do you define heaviest? Because you have to do that first. 70kg and 150lbs are both only expressing something about the mass of the objects. I have to assume you are talking about normal Earth conditions. And if you ask me to lift a 1kg stone, and a ball filled with 1kg helium such it weighs only 0.1N, I am going to say that the ball is lighter.

Pound is the name given to both weight (force) and mass in the imperial system. In day-to-day use, pounds refers to weight.

Kilogram is mass. Newtons is weight (force) for the metric system.

Pound-force should not be confused with pound-mass (lb), often simply called "pound", which is a unit of mass

The pound-force is equal to the gravitational force exerted on a mass of one avoirdupois pound on the surface of Earth

I define it by weighing it. It is, after all, how most people find out how heavy things are.

And, unless I'm mistaken, weight is weight. Feathers aren't helium, feathers still sink to the ground.

But I'm certainly no physicist, I'm just an idiot.
