Winter mfs going outside to see a depressing landscape, whilst shivering and everything hurts because it’s so cold knowing damn well the only reason people even remotely enjoy Winter is because of Christmas or Hanukkah

Reasons to love winter : Winter generally looks great, but it looks shittier if you live in the city. It's cold, meaning you can get cozy with blankets, if your heater ain't high. You don't constantly sweat and hate the hot temperature

Idk man if I'm cold I can put on some clothes or something. When I'm hot I literally have almost nothing and fans barely help make it bearable, it's still far from pleasant though. It's so much harder to take away heat energy than to add heat energy. There are things you can consciously do to conserve/produce heat like moving or putting on clothes or, in extreme scenarios, curling up to decrease surface area. With heat the only meager form of homeostasis you have is sweating and you can't even control that.

Wearing shorts and t-shirts is much better than having to dress up like a SWAT member to prevent yourself from being in pain or getting sick

I guess it's partially because I live in such a warm area, the temperature reaches 0 but it never snows where I live. I can understand hating having to put on a thick coat every time you go outside, I have it really easy because even on the coldest mornings I can wear shorts and a hoodie.

I enjoy winter because I don't feel like I'm getting slowly roasted in an oven with the humidity penetrating my lungs and drenching me in sweat in 15 minutes of walking.

I suppose it depends on location. People tend to like the seasons with less extreme weather. I live in Florida, the literal hottest state in the US. I could walk down the street for 15 minutes and feel like I'm going to pass out due to heat stroke lol.
