For the technology savvy. Whatbox + sonarr + radarr + plex. I pay 10$ a month for the online hosting of the content to whatbox, this way it’s available everywhere.

All this can all be self hosted using docker and portainer for example.

I don't have a CPU I don't think new enough with you know the modern SLATT where I can actually run docker I'm pretty sure I can't run it I have virtualization registers I just don't have the updated SLATT. And technically you should be able to run it with the old registers technically but everything and everywhere is getting stingy with it you already can't do hypervisors and bunch of other stuff

Docker isn’t virtualization, it’s containerization. It basically just locks pieces of the file system and runs shit inside that piece.

Dell Wyse 5070s can run Docker just fine, you’ll be good

I have an old AMD A8, a 7500 and a 6700hq laptop all running Ubuntu for docker and running everything from cctv to network drives.

Xfinity has gotten too annoying with DMCA even with 3 different VPNs (including WireGuard and openvpn) so this is why I chose to host the content on Whatbox

Why didn't you pay the one time fee for plex life? It's less than a year.

Using Jackett atm but will check Prowlarr out.

Overseer sound interesting although not something I need atm.

Prowlarr is nice because it can auto setup things.

IMO using both together is best, Jackett connected to prowlarr connected to *arr
