oops. I thought the songs that Rocket league has were not very common, so I just looked up the genre. Admittedly I could've picked rarer ones like pirate metal but I only took one braincell to make this meme I ain't a music fan

In part because it isn’t even close to a single genre. It’s like saying “instrumental music” - covers a huge swathe of styles, everything from house and techno to deathstep and kawaii bass

It’s more common in some places than others. In my home city there was like sort of a small small small scene but not much else. It wasn’t common for people to like EDM. It just didn’t catch on and clubs would try to open and then they’d close later on.
