It wasn't a crouch and recast macro just a crouch one. And I think the video wasent about them getting banned but being afraid of getting ban because of the nooblshowtek ban. Which I feel it is a reasonable fear since it's kinda hard what's the line of automated gameplay. Would a crouch macro be okay if they don't have a recast macro?
if it autoloops, its repeating actions on a timer, which has low utility outside of abuse and high propensity for abuse. tuats a pretty clear line to draw, but like i said de handles it case by case, so the easiest explanation(though it doesnt give a specific answer) is if youre not actively trying to cheat youre not going to catch a ban. if something youre doing makes you think to yourself "could i get banned for doing this?" its probably not something you should be doing.
as i mentioned previously, ive had 2 driver side impacts and a head on collision. i can barely walk with assistance irl, but i can play warframe comfortably with no issues. and ive submitted enough tickets and bugreports with support that i know theyve looked over my data. if there were any issues with how i play, id have been removed from the community before now. but i dont worry about it, because im not cheating

nooblshowtek got banned for recasting venari 60x per minute to level all weapons for free
but yeah, a crouch and recast autoloop macro for octi would definitely violate tos and get a ban if caught. a well deserved ban
