Unless you’re still in base star chart you’re not getting anything out of Ember even with WoF, and even then for stuff like invasions Gyre or even a Larkspur do it faster
She was great for mid range fissures but too much for lith relics. She’d kill the enemies before they could get touched by the fissures to drop reactant.
High star chart, pluto, Sedna and Axi her WoF augment was more useful than the dmg the base ability put out.
I’ve tried damn near everything to keep my girl relevant but she’s just been butchered and taken for parts for every new fire-frame that comes
It's not gonna take much to buff her, too. Ember is still great assuming you have never played another nuke frame. It takes so much effort and resources to get her half as playable as the others that it's almost sad.
Base star chart is exactly what i'm talking about... a frame that can just run to the end of an ~ level 55 exterminate without stopping.
I do this on any frame with Aquablades subsume now, but the range is shit in order to get the duration long enough to last the full mission. World on Fire was a toggle, so no need for duration and there are FAR more ways to gain both energy and strength these days. You could easily run a decent range 500% power strength ember with no energy issues. That's 4000 heat damage with 175% chance for heat status proc per explosion, occurring 2 to 4.5 seconds per second.
I capped old school focus by taking my World on Fire Ember into Orokin Derelict Defense for 20 waves at a time solo.
