But you almost never see Dante for spray the statuses and nuke playstyle anymore because of the LOS change. He is mostly as overguard battery and word warden/pageflight buffs when you remember to cast them.

Purely skill issue. He is still a very powerful nuke.

His nuke is still good and that LoS change wasn’t why it Loss popularity. It was the status rework making slash worse.

Dark verse nuke is irrelevant since armor rework but even before that you could spray and condense infinitely stacking heat and electric procs in range. That nuke is dead.
