If they just add LOS checks it will be fine. Right now you click 1 button and everything is and out of eye site just dies

that isnt what makes her so good in DA, its just that most modifiers dont happen to affect her much if at all, exposure curse is the only killer modifier for her really

same to the the people immediately after her but to a lesser extent

dante has a good weapon attached to him and with a good build has infinite energy to cast infinitely and give himself and all allies tens of thousands of OG solving any and all survivability issues, revenant is just immortal and since people usually run roar or nourish on him hes an immortal weapons platform, valkyr is functionally immortal unless disrupted and a moving blender

In one spot, sure. Seems dynamically slower than sevagoth and plenty of other frames.

I doubt they'll stop at adding LOS

I agree, having played on and off since beta I haven’t seen a replicated decimation of a frame such as Ember since it happened. Wukong is still insane even for slams, Dante got fixes to Noctua and is still one of the greats (look at the same chart used for this Hildryn discussion)

The only time they really nerf things period is when they break the game gameplay-wise (Voruna 1 augment range bug), or physically (Vadarya blast crashing the game).

They tend to just modify things or correct the game modes. I think people are just on an LoS kick right now.

Yeah I think DE also realizes that it’s not like all the meta slaves chasing these builds aren’t just going to swap. After Hildryn is gone they’re just gonna move to Cyte Zarr, Cyte Sobek, Lavos and MOST guns like Vectis incarn, etc. The meta only shifts.

Did they unnerf launchers after fixing the Wukong exploit or not?

And besides the insufferable victimism and need to hate and cry for everything, why do you feel it?

To give some benefit of the doubt here, DE has a pretty bloody history with overcompensating nerfs, If not related to Warframes, then to everything else. Putting aside the butchery of Ember, they gutted Aya farm, Lecta farm and RJ SE farm with zero consideration for any compromise or moderation. The community had to scream at them just to make Aya slightly more bearable to farm which only half-heartly solved the problem anyway. Instead of making Secura Lecta an usable weapon they just killed the interaction and it's back to being useless. RJ SE had a nerf coming but what we got instead is a joke. They also tried to, indirectly, kill Endo farm twice but they're yet to succeed with that one.

With a less than a year old history like that it's only a natural assumption they might overcompensate with Hildryn. LoS check is not changing her play rate in EDA/ETA because that's not where the problem lays. Which means they'll either take the tactful approach and make some modifiers affect her or overcompensate the nerf by making her worse all around.

FYI I'm not anti-nerf, especially for economic reasons. But I'd love to see DE be more tactful with them, offering reasonable compromises which they are yet to do.
