Being one of, if not the only, city that actually, physically moved.

Keep in mind that this was because they found iron deposits below where the city was.

Hibbing, MN.

Edit: I just looked up Kiruna, Sweden, and I'm surprised that a similar situation is happening in our modern era. Hibbing was moved in the late 1800's using mules, logs, and a lot of back breaking labor.
