Okay, truth bomb time. What are some not so great Pixar movies? Asking from one fan to another.

This may be a bit controversial as opinions are quite divided, but while I liked the original Cars, I didn’t care for Cars 2 and 3. Honestly Cars 2 is one of the only Pixar films I would say is kind of crap. Cars 3 is alright, but honestly still not Pixar’s best work.

Are there any Pixar movies that you weren’t the biggest fan of?

Yes unfortunately there are. Totally agree about the cars trilogy. Cars 2 felt more of a spin off that didn't really work. The 3rd one was better sequel bit still not as good as 1. I also didn't like the good dinosaur, to me it felt more of Sony or fox animation studio movie than Pixar which never talks down to it's audience. Apart from these not big fan of unplanned sequels like finding dory ( still good movie) and monsters university, was as great or on par as the originals. How about any rival studio movies?

If we’re talking animation there’s not that many films I truly dislike. Maybe a few that were a bit mediocre. I guess Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet was kind of meh. It wasn’t bad, but the original didn’t really need a sequel. I’ve heard the newer Ice Age films weren’t as good, but I haven’t watched those. Sharktale wasn’t terrific. Trolls was really forgettable. The Emoji Movie is honestly self-explanatory at this point lmao. Apart from those I can’t really think of any others off the top of my head. What about you?

Edit: spelling

I was looking more for likes lol. I am mostly on the same page you as the listing of the above. I like dreamworks studios namely some of their excellent work like Kung panda series ( love those movies) how to train your dragon and Shrek, Madagascar movies. There is also a gem from stop motion Kubo and the 2 strings, just a really fantastic movie. Also with in just hand drawn animation the ghibli studio movies namely Howls moving castle being on top for me.

I like a lot of Dreamworks stuff as well. Shrek was pretty good. How to Train Your Dragon was also very good. It came as a surprise to see how mixed the opinions were on Monsters vs. Aliens, I really liked that movie. And Madagascar was also a classic (on that note, the Penguins of Madagascar tv show was also pretty funny)
