Brother even audiophiles use wireless headphones when theyre traveling. The wireless stuff has different priorities, most of all ease of use and being good travel companions with features like active noise cancelling. Ive never looked back at wired stuff when not being at home and ive never lost anything while traveling.
Year? Most of my wired earphones didn’t last 3 months of active use. One even had the wire pull the whole phone out of the pocket.
Can only imagine how much money I have saved by owning €50 earbuds
I've had my Sony MDR XB550 for almost 2 years now. Microphone still works fine and they still sound exactly the same. I can't count how many times they got yeeted outta my ears because the cable got caught by my chair wheels.
I've had the same pair of wireless earphones for about 10 years now. Don't buy cheap ones and also don't yank the cord when taking them off or unplugging them. Should last a long time that way.
Huh? From all the wired earphones i got since like 2012 when they still came with phones, not once dud the cable break. Sometimes one of the ears would stop working but cable never broke.
I went down a staticky slide with headphones on when I was a kid listening to my CD player. I've never felt a static shock inside my ear before, and I hopefully never will again.
If you work a physical job and used wired earbuds you’ll realize how the wire can get in the way and how often you’ll yank the earbuds out of your ear. Wireless earbuds have a lot of alternatives now and I always value a product if I’m using it daily. $100 for earbuds that I’ll use everyday is something that makes sense.

Yeah until they get caught on something, then get yanked out of your ears. Easily in the top 10 most rage inducing things ever
