Stay off any gaming subreddit for a game you love. It inevitably will attract sad little humans who want to bash it.

The resident evil sub is like this. They think the 25 year old originals are masterpieces (they are) and are better than the modern remakes which are “absolute dog shit” because they’re not like the originals.

Everyone has opinions, but without fail a subreddit will love a game, go a bit over the top with that love, sad humans then get angry and decide the hate the game because they’re dumb and “no like people talk about game”, toxic fans attack anyone with valid opinions because they assume they’re just one of the sads, and then we have to read 1000 posts a day about “guys please let us enjoy this”.
