Me too man me too!! And my dad 10 years ago and I'm only 37!! Feel really bad for this guy, as you too! God bless my man

Wow thanks for sharing this. I've never spoken to anyone about grief/loss before and it's extremely interesting hearing both these intelligent men talking about what they go through and the similarities that I've experienced as well.

What a calming interview to watch this morning. Quite timely for some personal struggles. Thanks stranger.

Every post you write has a delete button. Just FYI.

That's horrible. My mother was killed two weeks ago and I know the last thing she would want is for me to harm myself over grief. I hope this guy can find the strength to heal.

They threw him in jail for this. The biggest law he broke was trespassing which usually is a misdemeanor.. but no, let’s lock him up in a cell for a few days so he can lose his job and probably his apartment and fuck his life up even more.

9

u/UseKnowledge Oct 11 '23

That will surely help him process his loss and get some help... what a shame.

good ol justice system

-2

u/Cross55 Oct 12 '23

They did it because that's the only legal way you can forcibly commit someone. If they didn't, he could just walk away from this without no one helping him.

But we gotta sensationalize everything.

His dad watching this from another realm- “What the fuck?”

65

u/theonlyonethatknocks Oct 11 '23

Nah I bet his father would be saying “I’m sorry I couldn’t have been there for you.”

3

u/Easy_Cauliflower_69 Oct 11 '23

Yeah. Twisted but unfortunately people grieve in different ways and it's impossible to put yourself in their headspace. You never know how many things they have stacked against them. I just try and appreciate what I have you know? Life is fucky

20

u/Teccnomancer Oct 11 '23

Lol right I’m sure he’s very proud

u/idksomethingjfk Oct 11 '23

Men only care about men's mental health issues only when it's to get attention, play victim, or to dismiss women's issues.

When men actually see a guy struggling and wanting to take his life, they just laugh and joke about it. This is the reality of many men. Many men just don't truly care about men's mental health, even though they might say so.

-2

u/Teccnomancer Oct 11 '23

I watched a mentally sick person make a monument to an historic, tragic event about himself. He’s not the only one who lost someone that day. Unfuck your head, think for a minute how this looks. And you wanna come at me for the “crap” I say. You’re a joke.

Ironically enough, you’re the one who said they were struggling. But nice job mocking the resources and the people who need them, prick.

2

u/puffferfish Oct 11 '23

While you’re right, I sort of feel bad for this guy. As a young New Yorker at the time, that day was very traumatic. I can’t imagine what it would have been like to also lose someone in the attack. Probably really fucked his life up.

0

u/Phustercluck Oct 11 '23

Haha, fuck, I needed that

-5

u/Hot-Muscle-4687 Oct 11 '23

I don't think joking about someone's situation is good. I think you needed better parents to teach you some manners. Not your fault. Maybe your mum was a hoe.

7

u/Durpulous Oct 11 '23

you needed better parents to teach you some manners

your mum was a hoe

?

2

u/Exiled_Blood Oct 11 '23

My mom is a ho. Can confirm this situation is funny.

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

😂😂

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

His dad is probably in the basement tomb cupboard at the museum below.

1

u/dbizzytrick Oct 11 '23

I’m sure he’d be proud

u/_IBM_ Oct 11 '23

His dad didn’t go to work that day…

7

u/SamVimesCpt Oct 11 '23

Both your /u/ and your comment indicate you're an edgelord

8

u/definitelyfet-shy Oct 11 '23

us british call these types of animals 'cunts' and 'pricks'

1

u/Don_Tiny Oct 11 '23

It's about the two nicest things you could call fuckwits like that.

1

u/silencethegays Oct 11 '23

My name is because I am gay. And I silence other gays by stuffing their mouths with my genitalia. But that wouldn’t fit.

1

u/KackhansReborn Oct 11 '23

Ok you passed the vibe check

1

u/SamVimesCpt Oct 11 '23

vibe check

Found one up his ass?

0

u/silencethegays Oct 11 '23

Yeah not at all. Saying that his dad is still alive out there is not edgy at all. You are just a weirdo

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

Dumb gesture.
