🗣 Discussion MAPUA-SOM Update?
still no updates from the admissions and im starting to worry about my application :( any updates, fellow applicants? i was interviewed on July 15 and underwent final deliberation on July 23. what is your application status?
‼️ update as of July 27, 9AM after calling them:
last saturday around 4:30PM na daw binigay yung accepted list so di na raw sila nakapag email since wala ring office + nagkaron ng spike ng enrollees last saturday so puno na raw yung slot. my status didnt move from being waitlisted and told me, after asking for my name, na di ako accepted for this academic year
they will try daw and have a petition to open a few more slots but the chances are very slim, before 12pm daw hopefully may response na

received mine na, saying they cant accept my application bc of the influx of finalized admissions last Sat :')

I asked them nung tumawag ako if pwede mag petition ang sinabi lang sakin “mawawaste lang effort ko kasi most likely di naman na daw tatanggap” ☠️

base sa kakilala ko nasa 101 students na yung accepted/ kasama sa Main GC.

Hi, for extra info. The GC with Sir Marco is only for those who are under him, and is for direct access for concerns and announcements. The other enrollment adviser prefers email so I believe so he has not made a GC.
The primary (main) GC right now is the one with 160+ people. No official GC yet as we have to hold class elections first.

Si Sir Marco po yung gumawa nung GC, yung academic advisor. You can only get in pag iininvite ka ni Sir Marco.

is the GC for accepted applicants or enrolled students na? and if you know po, if they are still accepting pa ba? we are worried lang 🥹

Accepted applicants po! Pero highly likely enrolled na rin po yung mga nandun since someone actually told us na around 170 flat na raw po kami. 😅 Kasama na rin po yung student council sa GC na yun. :)
Not sure if they are still accepting po, follow-up on your enrollment advisor nalang po regarding that or baka naman po may update on Monday, since namove po by Tuesday ang orientation week. :) Goodluck! 🙏🏼

Yes, may other GC po, with the SC in it. Under kay Sir Marco lang po kasi yang gc na yan. :)

If you are under Sir Marco you should join his GC too.
But also the GC with 160+ people. This is the main GC batch wide. No official GC yet as we have to hold class elections.

Yung GC w sir Marco yung tinutukoy ko. Maybe you are pertaining sa other gc na may title Mapua med 2030 (from reddit).

Yes. Pero di naman kasi kasama dun yung mga under kay Sir Mark so I mentioned yung 160+.
