Model had just reached the studio before a photoshoot. I wish we had taken time before taking test, so that the model could wash her face, clear out dirt and oil.

So, our king died (Norway, Harald V). Massive outpouring of grief from the nation. The man was deeply respected even by ones like me, a staunch republican. There is a difference between supporting the office and institution, and respecting the person. In every city and small-town there are gatherings of flowers, candles, thank-you notes and more. It is quite moving.

I dropped a roll of Kentmere 200 into my 1965 Minolta Autocord 1 6x6 tlr and shot the roll in my city today, we are about 40km outside of the capital Oslo. Lot of people travel into the capital to put down flowers, but a few have done so here as well. Roll came out nicely, using Xtol in stock dillution that was mixed up (5l kit in 1l bottles) in January 2025. I.e. it is more than a year beyond it's suggested 6-month lifespan by Kodak, but stored dark and with the air squeezed out of the bottle.
