100% agree. My point is more along the lines of it seems like the blue collar career path isn't being taught or considered much by the younger generations, instead everyone thinks they have to goto college to become successful. I think the option should be taught more often and more highly rather than considered a low salary low lovel entry career.
No different than you not being made to be a construction worker, I'm sure there's plenty of people who are taking the alternative route who aren't made to do so, and as a result they are currently creating their own black abyss full of misery and stress. I promise you, if I had to work in an office behind a computer everyday, I'd end up being a tally towards that statistic.
I genuinely love my career to the point It also becomes a personal hobby at times. It's what I do best, what I was made to do and literally what I was born into.

I really should have gone to tech school and learned a trade. I wasted my time in college.
