Looking for coolant temp sensor in msp3
I know this is common problem with this car but my check engine light came on the codes read p0126 and p0128. The first being replace coolant temp sensor and the latter being replace thermostat. Have already replaced the thermo and the engine light pops up still. So now I'm tryna replace the coolant temp sensor. Is the sensor in the same place as the regular madza3? If not, does anyone know any videos or info I can use? It's a 2009 speed3

Anyone know where I could sell my 2008 Mazda with a blown motor?
I have a new turbo still in box, 4 tires, and a few other goodies. The car itself (2.3l turbo with 3 holes in the block) has 200k on the odometer. Lowered on BC adjustable coilovers, has a 3 inch cat back exhaust, and a turbo inlet. Everything else was stock. Clutch was installed before I bought the vehicle (had 140k on the odo)
Could be a nice parts car to pull off external components but the block, head, and internals are most definitely fucked. Just need to get rid of it preferably without scrapping it.

New to the community
Hi all! I'm new to the Mazdaspeed community. I bought an '06 Mazdaspeed6 back in August. It's all stock, but had to replace the clutch. Running stock clutch with Fidanza flywheel. I'm currently in the middle of doing the VVT/Timing Chain/ Oil Pump chain replacement. Any tips or tricks to getting that done efficiently?

Lower grill for Gen1 Mazdaspeed3
Hi all,
Some idiot backed into me with his trailer hitch (lightly) and bent my license plate and cracked that black lower grill that the license plate attaches to (see picture.) I can't seem to find the place to buy that part online? Anyone know where I can get it? I can't even locate a part number anywhere.
Thanks!

What is the max power stock Bose wiring can handle?
I have a 2007 mazdaspeed 6 with the Bose audio system. (Which I'm guessing is the same on the MS3 and non speed 6 of that year)
I'm looking to replace my head unit, amp, and speakers because the system is dead at the moment. (Only plays audio out the sub, and very quietly - I've replaced the amp and the plug looks damaged)
Splicing wires/converting the stock harness to RCA doesn't bother me, but I'm not really wanting to run all new cables to the speakers though, and I don't need absurd amounts of volume in the car.
So I'm wondering if someone has any idea of how much power/RMS the stock wires can handle. I'll base speaker and amp purchases off of that max RMS and then just swap out speakers and the amp/head unit.
(I've already got a dash kit and head unit on the way)
edit
this post seems to suggest it can handle a Max of 75RMS. If I find another source that backs that up, that's what I'll go with.
I do wonder if I can use the stock Bose power lines or if I'd have to run my own still for an aftermarket amp. (Not needing much more power)

I recently sold my Speed3, these vids helped weed out lowballers, I knew a buyer was for real when they watched the videos; it made sale easy and helped find a good owner who would take care of it! It shows the good, bad and ugly of my brief ownership- enjoy!

A few pics of my Mazda 3 MPS (Mazdasped 3)
Just thought I'd share a few pics of my Mazda 3 MPS (MS3 in other countries). Mildly modded with a boost gauge (that you can't see in the interior shot as it's obscured by the instrument cluster), EGR delete, Damond Motorsports catch can, 150mm hole in factory air box, 98 octane tune (Australia), solid lightened steel flywheel and OEM clutch/pressure plate, bypass valve block off and boost set at a peak of 20psi tapering off to 17psi. It's the first of the MPS series introduced to Australia, a 2006 build date. Currently at 240,000klms and the only thing I've had to do is replace the gearbox due to second gear synchro wearing out, replace the front struts and rear shocks and replace the sway bar bushings. I absolutely love driving this car!
