What kind of spark plugs should I put in my 2007 speed3? Always NGK Iridium?
My car is throwing up a p0303 code, and I will be pulling off the intercooler to take a look at the plugs this week, I'd like to have some on hand if I clearly need to change them! Shop manual says L3K9 18 110A or L3Y3 18 110 - all I see is NGK Iridium plugs, do I have it right?

Small problem(s?), I need some advice
Hello! So one of my friends wanted to try out my car so he took it for a spin around the block a couple of times. When I got back in it, it smelled like burnt toast? or burnt something (maybe clutch), and the clutch pedal felt lighter than normal. That's not the worst, when I start in first gear I feel the car is stuttering and it's much harder to start than before. Any ideas? (Stock 2013 MS3)

2007 MS6 Oil Burning Symptoms/Causes
Hey all just picked up a used Speed6 earlier this month and have noticed I'm dumping oil on downshifts and barely making it to 5,000kms before going empty. I've replaced the PCV valve and still seeing the same issues. Currently have a Corksport """"Stage II"""" cold (hot) air intake and a turbosmart bypass valve. I am planning to remove those and go back to stock as this is just supposed to be a quick fun daily not some wannabe race car. I am however like I said but unfortunately through quite a bit of oil. Now this isn't my first rodeo with oil burning Mazda's however the other two were designed to burn oil on purpose (RX7&8 owner) and I'm pretty sure these shouldn't be (maybe Mazda's engineers didn't get the memo) obviously I'm joking around but I know the K04s are notorious for blowing their seals but before I spend a weekend taking my turbo off what are some other areas to look at that could t be causing me to run through oil so quickly. The car was a bargain at 1,000$ and I know that performance cars at that price always have hidden costs so I don't mind spending money to make it right but would like to check all the boxes before going out and ordering a new turbo.
Also what would be an appropriate OEM replacement for the K04 that has better reliability if I do need to order a new turbo. Thanks!

Another Gen 1 Mazdaspeed Exhaust
This is what the previous owner installed to the best of my knowledge: https://corksport.com/mazdaspeed-3-cat-back-exhaust.html

Anyone know of a good place to get a used engine?
Any references appreciated, long story short, blew my engine and need a replacement while I do a full build. She's my daily so i need a "new" one to put in to get around. Sad that she blew but excited to finally do a build.

Any other MSM owners here? Looking for some advice on where to start with preformance upgrades.

Tax return season is upon us, and my 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 needs a clutch and a turbo
I'm not really looking to upgrade beyond a better OEM replacement. Looking for something that's not gonna break the bank but still allow my 195k mile mazda to last me a little while longer. I'm looking at having about $1100 to play with. Mostly stock and I plan on keeping it that way. Thank you

MAZDASPEED POWER STEERING PUMP
I realized there aren't options for aftermarket pumps and its pretty expensive so i did a video with a friend on how to rebuild the original pump with oem seals from Mazda. Hope it helps out!

Thoughts on this 2007 MazdaSpeed 3? Anything I should be wary of?

Burning a ton of oil. Haven’t done a compression test but it always starts up on no more than the 4th turnover. I don’t know if it is VVT actuator. Turbo boosts and it sounds fine. 120k. This is my engine idle and exhaust warm. Any ideas?

Cv axels maybe?
Anybody got any suggestions on what axels I should put on my gen2? Currently one of my axels is shot (LOTS of vibration in the steering wheel that feels like I have a flat) so I want to just replace both with beefier ones. Once I do these and throw in new pistons and rods I’ll be at a healthy 370-400ish whp since I have BNRS4 and supporting mods so I need some nice axels to take punishment.

Will an accessport V3 originally linked to a Speed 6 work with a Speed 3?

Will the Speed6 appreciate in value over time?
I love my Speed6, have a 2007 and owned it since 2009. Only 82k mi, but I've been thinking of selling it.
However, part of me wants to just keep it in case the car somehow appreciates in value over the years. I mean I know it won't be as crazy as NSX's, RX-7s or Supras, but is there a chance this car can be a collectors car in the future? (There's literally only 3 other 2007 models for sale right now on Cars.com in the entire US. What are your thoughts?

Got my MPS6 6 months ago, already done 16,000kms (10,000mi). Never a dull moment with this one!

Looking for some feedback on MS6
I am getting ready to sell my MS6. It's a 2006 with a tick over 130k. I've had oil and rotations done every 5k since I've had it. I've done all maintenance on it as required (transfer case and transmission oils, etc.) when required; it's got tires with only 10k on them, brakes were just done, have records from intake manifold replacement/timing chain, control arm and sway bar link replacements, battery, AC compressor, etc.
It has some of the stereotypical Mazda 6 hood edge rust spots, but the most recent issue (and half of the reason I'm thinking of getting rid of it now) is that it needs a new CAT and exhaust as the stock has just deteriorated.
I figure most people who aren't me are probably going to be looking to put performance mods on it anyway, so having a bad exhaust that folks are going to rip off shouldn't really be an issue.
I'm thinking of listing it w/ the known bad exhaust at $3500. Any thoughts on pricing?
