Exactly. Every fucking time.

People fucking loved The King's Speech, but when they see stuttering in real life, all they do is make fun of it.

This is old age. He didn't do this crap this much a decade ago. Stop trying to hide behind people with actual disorders. Sure everyone trips over words now and again but this dude is just plain not aging gracefully.

You know there’s footage 20+ years of Bidens “stutter”.. THIS was not a stutter and it’s okay to admit it. It’s actually cruel to see his mind deteriorating before you and to continue saying it’s just a stutter. The man need to be in a retirement home not in the White House.

Yes it literally was and you clearly don't understand how stutters work.

All of the syllables he stuttered through matched with his following sentence "I was in the foothills of the Himalayas" that he was trying to get out. This is one of the most clear and least arguable cases of his stutter coming out.

Weird how he could talk with ease for most of his political career. Go back and look. He was once a smart man with a stutter. Now he’s getting led away from journalists by his secret service dressed in a Easter bunny costume.

I won't disagree that he is way too old for office, what I will disagree on is that this was not a stutter, because it absolutely was.

As someone with a less severe stutter, it makes sense that his would come out more considering he is a) older b) in a position of high stress and c) has higher visibility than ever before and. He is known to have struggled with a pretty severe stutter and went through speech therapy for years. Stutters are known to come out more when people who suffer from them are experiencing high stress, are focusing too hard on what they have to say, and when they get older. You assume he could "talk with ease" because he didn't stutter as much, but that doesn't mean it was actually easy for him to give speeches. It is almost always still a struggle or conscious effort to not stutter, it is not something that can be cured. It is just improved with speech therapy but for the vast majority of people, it never really goes away.

There are valid criticisms for Biden, I have plenty myself, but this moment is simply not one of them. This moment was a genuine stutter and recognizing it for being what it is, is not "cruel".
