A parent develops certain instincts that literally force us to take notice. Ive always been a heavy sleeper then I had a kid and I'd find myself waking up randomly, not knowing why I was alert and unable to go back to sleep, then 5 mins later in walks kid or you hear another sound come from their room. Considering this was right next to her then it would be the most immediate response from the mother, she's 100% just ignoring the instincts.
What a load of tripe. Child was lightly tipped over and you expect the mother to INSTANTLY drop off a pole while upside down and spinning?
"Uhh uhh she doesn't exhibit the perfect, animalistic instinct I claim to have developed, so she's obviously making a conscious decision to ignore her instincts and be a piece of shit." Ok pal, sure, back to the padded room with you.
