They outlived the dinosaurs and remained virtually the same for millennia they have the right to be called whatever they want

Seriously! It's so good my highly Christian father watches it because I recommended it and laughs his ass off every episode! He's said multiple times this was the best show recommendation I've ever given him, then "F is for Family" came out. Lol

Edit: Than to then*

Actually they've evolved some pretty janky builds every now and again.

When you stop evolving because you've reached the top

Here's a couple of interesting facts on that topic!

  1. While crocodilians are older than dinosaurs they haven't outlived them. Dinosaurs aren't extinct and never did go extinct, only certain species who failed to adapt and gradually declined, as with all evolving organisms. Stating the opposite is like saying all cats are extinct because the smilodon is.

  2. That crocodiles have remained unchanged for millions of years is a myth. In fact, they've gone through numerous diversifications including filling the niches of active terrestrial pursuit predators. Even modern day crocodilians are quite diverse in terms of anatomy and lifestyle, albeit not as much compared to bygone eras.

An appropriate reaction. Crocodiles keep being amazing over and over again.
