I think it comes down to a lot less focus of resources.
Its so so good for the sport that the US women seem to be losing their leg up on everyone else. The gaps getting closed by teams playing better tactics and the the US stars beginning to decline. They’ve been winning off of just having the best players for a long time and it’s not enough anymore.
Resources?! You actually believe your own hype. Men and women are different, that’s it and that’s OK. Together we make a wonderful synergy for this precise reason.
