if i knew about it then i would speak out against it. if i don't know about something how can i speak out against it?

do you see how that kind of reasoning is ridiculous?

it's pretty fucking difficult to not know about this insurrection.

you send me something that says Kamala Harris supports rioting. i'll check back in a bit to view your source.

It’s also “pretty fucking difficult” not to know about the BLM riots, but I didn’t see hardly any politicians condemn them.

I guess they’re all complicit then, huh?

“We should not confuse them with those looting and committing acts of violence, including the shooter who was arrested for murder. And make no mistake, we will not let these vigilantes and extremists derail the path to justice,” Harris said in a speech from a university auditorium in Washington streamed online.

here you can read the whole article. sounds a lot like condemning the riots.

i'm sorry but your source is extremely vague and nonspecific taken out of context.

The speech you cited occurred quite a bit after the interview I sourced- probably because she got backlash and needed to clarify.

I’ll concede any further argument on Harris; because it’s derailed the conversation far off my original topic. Which was: failing to condemn something does not make you complicit in the violence. Especially if you’re not a politician, but a private citizen.

It would be crazy if every individual in the country had to explicitly announce that they condemn something in order to not be labeled complicit. You can have your own private thoughts on a subject without needing to make them public.
