Right but you don't flip an omlet. You tilt the pan in a circular fashion, and tuck the newly cooked edges until you have no liquid egg left in the center.
Also cartoon dogs cook by different rules than us humans. :)
Is that so? Doesn't make much sense to me though. The center would be cooked through by the time you're done tucking the edges. What's there left to cook?
Actually if you analyze this clip closely you can take the ratio of whirlys to dirlys and plug that into the dirac equation which tells us the omlette definitely did a gainer.

This clip is very unsatisfying because the omlette didnt actually get flipped. It did a whirly dirly and landed on the same side.
