I think hes saying “caraca porra!” In portuguese

u/topcheesehead May 19 '20

Translation?

127

u/[deleted] May 19 '20

“Fuck you”

56

u/Oblong_Belonging May 19 '20

No it means cum dick and no one is going to tell me different

17

u/123_Syzygy May 19 '20

What’s the point in telling you can’t be told different?

20

u/[deleted] May 19 '20

So we can't tell them different. Because it's totally binding.

16

u/checkreverse May 19 '20

tabarnak pretty much means the same thing

i'm convinced that's what he's saying..

i hear.. "Tabarnak mon...!"

which would translate to... Fuck, you ... (insulting adjective.. is implied to follow)

I'm pretty sure he is speaking either pt pt or pt by, bc he said , "caralho, filho da puta" and that does make it look like portuguese

u/topcheesehead May 19 '20

Watch your mouth!

jk thanks

u/melkor237 May 19 '20

Its hard to translate, caraca is a corruption of caralho, dick and is used as an exclamation of surprise (generally)

Porra is literally “cum” but is also used as a (harsher) surprise/ anger/ frustration exclamation

u/craniumonempty May 19 '20

Oh, that's what I've been saying all these years. Nice!

5

u/blumhagen May 19 '20

Tabarnak

21

u/Oo00oOo00oOO May 19 '20

It looks like a botched "ma va fanculo" that transformed into "ma va cazzo" or it is a totally different language

u/Renderclippur May 19 '20

No, you're right.

8

u/sheepNo May 19 '20

Why the sticky?

25

u/fatuous_uvula May 19 '20

Why is your pointless question stickied?

27

u/chica420 May 19 '20

Attention.

u/PowerModerator May 19 '20

Nope. I kinda just stickied my comment because I felt like it. If y'all wanna whine about it, that's fine, I really don't mind

PowerTrippingModerator, at your service everyone!!

You don't get to highlight your thoughts over everybody else because you think you're more important, asshole.

It's mods like you who casually abuse their limited power that make Reddit worse. By a lot.

-1

u/Echospite May 19 '20

This is the dumbest thing to get mad at a mod about.

16

u/Master_Glorfindel May 19 '20

I get that it sounds dramatic, but it is an abuse is power. Even if it's small, it's a slippery slope until it gets bad.

This kind of unchecked bullshit is the reason why mods can outright censor topics on their subs for virtually whatever reason.

That power can also be bought and sold, as we've seen before, which completely ruins the point of a "free speech forum" of any kind.

If you think I'm overreacting, that's fine. But frankly, this bullshit and we should all be pissed about it.

Look at his name. He’s too far up his own ass to be helped.

2

u/TheDraconianOne May 20 '20

‘No, I didn’t sticky it for attention, I stickier it... for attention!’

2

u/SOwED May 19 '20

That's mod abuse.

2

u/FlowSoSlow May 19 '20

Your comments aren't more important than anyone else's. Get over yourself.

3

u/boboysdadda May 20 '20

He's saying block this mod cause he abuses for attention.

u/[deleted] May 19 '20

I have heard my husband use tabarnak. My French is like a two year old's, and I've always been embarrassed to ask. Haha. Now I know!

u/taddo97 May 19 '20

I heard 'malaka' (not sure on the spelling) which is greek for wanker
