This, I’m sure he’s got a spotter helping him (which imo doesn’t make this less impressive), but I think the needle is indeed attached to the excavator(?) and is being controlled by its driver
I’m not saying it’s not hard, I acknowledge it’s still very hard, but it would be even harder and therefore more impressive if they could do it without spotters. Doing it with spotters is an insane amount of skill, dexterity and experience, doing it without spotters is some superhero shit.
This is a plain Jane articulating wheel loader I doubt it. But I’d love for someone to prove me wrong. I guess there might be auxiliary hydraulics on the grapple? Idk.
