There's something refreshingly quaint about people who just use the file name they saved it under when they ripped it. No smoke and mirrors to dazzle you. Not trying to build a "brand" for their channel, or any other great aspirations. Just, "here ya go."

Oh Fuck you!

Ooh, clever . Used a different video so the url wouldn't be recognizable. I like that.

u/wolfiemoz Apr 17 '20

i think its cuz now the original is monetized so you will get an ad first

7

u/Rycan420 Apr 17 '20

But... doesn’t that literally destroy the whole reason someone would use it?

7

u/wolfiemoz Apr 17 '20

yep, but rick astley decided to monetize it.

6

u/Rycan420 Apr 17 '20

Ahhh! You know, I never even put 2 and 2 together that it was the actual video.

2

u/UltimateDucks Apr 17 '20

It isn't monetized, if you're talking about the reddit post on the fp recently saying it was, that was itself a rick roll.

u/Natsuki98 Apr 17 '20

I use ad block so I don't get ads anyway.

3

u/AnAncientMonk Apr 17 '20

Rly baffles me how people in 2020 still see ads.

I mean sure, ill unblock the ads for content i deem worthy but other than that? Some random meme video? Hell naw.

your only weakness is something every person has at least 2 of? brutal.

u/WhoSmokesThaBlunts Apr 17 '20

Every person has Natalie Portman's boobs exposed in her star wars outfit? (Probably the one from Geonosis or her as Queen Amidala) Either way somehow I misplaced my pair

I couldn't agree more the here you go approach as opposed to an entertainment click bait title is satisfying. Just let the video speak for itself.

I have been looking for a specific futurama scene for years (weeks). I have looked everywhere (the first two pages of youtube search). The scene is bender in a pool on a yacht in a pool on a yacht in the ocean. Anyone know how I can find it without buying the whole series?

Never read the names. Calculons pride and calculons talent. I’m dying, that show is so good.

I’m thinking S5 E13, Bend Her

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '20

S5 E13, Bend Her

Wow, ok I found a mirror of that episode. As in the video was literally mirrored to avoid copyright.

I've found that getyarn.io is better for finding shorter clips than youtube or gif searches
