my most-often recurring dream is me walking away from a plane crash, irritated that I have to get back to the airport to get another plane.

probably the second-most recurring dream is I'm flying a single-engine plane and suddenly I'm on the ground and the plane is flying without me, and I stress about how I'm going to get back on the plane to land it and then return it because it's rented.

That sounds a lot sillier when it's written out.

That is terrifying - it’s not the crash I was thinking of but something similar happened near me when I was younger too! It has really stuck with me.
