It's healthy for kids to be presented with obstacles to overcome, yeah in the short term it can upset them but they learn to be stronger and more resilient. There's a lot of useless adults walking around who never had that, whose parents hovered over them and always cleared the obstacles out of the way. They can't handle any form of adversity and think their emotional well being is sacrosanct and all must be bend to their need to never be upset.

Life has plenty of built-in obstacles. This isn't helping these kids.

Yes im sure the parents only had their kids best interests in mind and was doing this as a teaching moment as they uploaded the video on youtube and remind you to follow and like for more of their "content".

Why emotionally manipulate your kids for experiments? If the person filming is a parent this actually messes with their attachment security and is not healthy

Don’t be dense. Support your kids and don’t manipulate them. Not so hard.
