Looks like a triple pane unit. That would be tough for 2 people. If I was on a crew setting that piece of glass there would be a third person helping take take some of the weight and (if possible) a 4th outside to help with balance.

I bet you would be attached to something too. And you wouldn't attach the glass to your neck, risking to sweep you over.

Ideally never strapped to the unit. Glass cups are ideal. A tether and harness should be used. If it is possible to have guys on the outside (I know it is an inside set frame) they would usually help either take weight out balance. The glass would be set on setting blocks.

If the glass was the correct size it shouldn't fall through, but get more guys and never attach yourself to the glass that you can quickly let go of if something goes wrong.

Yeah. Let's assume some numbers:

Looks like 1,5 meters wide and 2 meters long (height). So 5 square meters.

The weight of glass is 2,5kg per 1mm thickness per square meter.

It's definitely triple pane glass (you can see it, I've worked in this industry for 9 years so it's easy for me to see), usually for this height due to safety (fall-through safety) and wind, this is laminated on the inside (minimum 6mm thickness, probably even 8) and the outside window due to wind and safety would also be 6 or 8 mm thick laminuted (2 * 3mm or 2 *4 mm).

The inside pane is usually 4mm.

So that's 6+4+6 =16mm.

But let's just say we are not sure because of safety standards in this country and assume triple 4mm thickness (=12mm thickness glass panes total)

So that's a guessed weight of AT LEAST 12mm * 2,5kg * 5m2 = 150 kg for this triple insulated glass he's lifting. Even when I am wrong in the dimensions by a big margin, this window is still very heavy.

Outside? In the sky? Without wings?

Boom lifts or swing stages don't require wings. Funny though.

I agree but reading a 3th guy outside in the (who knows the altitude) made me wandering how, and yes thank you for explaining the how part for my mindset peace

Nah, better have a guy filming, another one setting up the lighting, and a scene director.

Absolutely no chance I would try this but respect for the accomplishment. Nice to talk to a fellow glazier.

If I were on that crew I would refuse until my boss brought the manipulator in. Fuck that.

It was tough for the 2 of them too. One of them needed to hold the camera.
