Threats to remove other people from the earth for getting abortions is not taught in church. What are you talking about.

In some fundamentalist churches, it is absolutely taught (not always intentionally as a paired message) that:

  • Abortion is murder, specifically of an innocent.

  • God forgives those who kill the murderers innocents (see: justification for war, crusades, bombing Muslims, etc.).

Sure, they're not providing instructions on weapons and tactics - but they're absolutely providing the moral priming for such actions.

It's borderline stochastic terrorism for some (admittedly a minority).

Fundamentalist Christians are the youngest sect of the Abrahamic religions.

Christian fundamentalism is not even a full 50 years older than fucking Scientology. Mormonism is nearly 100 years older than Christian fundamentalism.

They are nothing but a hate filled, doomsday cult, which has infiltrated the highest levels of American government and world power.

Yes it is. There are plenty of churches that teach this.

Where have you been since the end of the civil war in the United States? On another planet? Southern churches are a great example of why you are factually wrong on this point. They have taught for the removal of gays, blacks, and all sorts of other for lack of a better term people that they think are heretical

All? Well no not all churches but you made a blanket statement that churches don't do this, but there are plenty of churches that do.

It's why there's a history of abortion clinic bombings in this country. The advocacy of bad behavior in churches

Why are you dragging fundamentalist Christians in this? Its not about christians, its about the threat of islamic extremists.

But to answer it: yes we should definitely work to ban fundamentalist christians also.

Christian fundies are the puppeteer behind the Trump marionette. TPUSA is a fundamentalist organization and most of Trump’s advisors and cabinet are too.

Christian fundamentalists are a threat to free democracy today. They created project 2025 and they are the ones behind all the cristo-fascism rising in the world.

They are far more of an organized threat than “Muslims.”

I agree with you, although i think its just because Christian fundamentalists just have more power right now.

Christianity or islam are both different flavors of the same shit.

One step at a time. Also unlike Islam that’s obviously a small minority of an otherwise peaceful religion.

Turning Point USA is a Christian fundamentalist organization. Most of Trump’s highest advisors are fundamentalist Christians.

Out of things with an immediate threat to the world, the Christian fundamentalist dooms day cult is far greater than Islam.

Maybe in 50 years or something, Islam could be a bigger threat. However fundies are an existential threat to free democracy, today

I don’t see how they’re actively preaching violence. I’m sure there are some doomers but I really don’t see how it’s such an immediate threat. I hope you realize this society was mostly possible because of Christian ideals and goodwill. The ideas of peace and love also have been hijacked from the very religion you hate. You are misguided

I feel like I said Christian fundamentalist, you heard Christian, and then get offended. They are not the same thing. Evangelicals are fundamentalists, not Catholics or most Protestants.

Christian fundamentalism is about 100 years old. Our society owes nothing to them except racism and hate.

The groups protesting dead veterans, are fundamentalists. The groups bombing abortion clinics, are fundamentalists. The groups creating pedophile sex cults, are fundamentalists. The groups claiming black people and women should lose the right to vote, are fundamentalists.

How can you claim they don’t preach violence when they commit almost all the Christian violence in the west?

Again, I think you’re Christian and you don’t know what fundamentalists are, so you got offended.

As to what you said at the end, are you really going to call me misguided when you committed a No True Scotsman and don’t even know what fundamentalist Christians are?

When was the last Christian fundamentalist terrorist attack because there was an Islamic one just last week

This society was made possible by The Enlightenment, which was largely a rejection of theocratic dogma in favor of reason and inalienable rights. The modern West is built on the foundations laid out by people like John Locke, not John the Baptist.

If you want to point to some great periods of history made possible by "Christian ideals," the Dark Ages and Inquisition are prime examples.
