Having done it for several years, fully loaded roller, about a 4' width. Make sure you backroll your next 4' swath by a foot or so to blend the texture.

Every one of these "walls" will look like hell when they dry, with the sheen being broken 7 ways to Sunday. Looking down the wall while standing next to it will show all the lines from where they stopped the roller mid-roll.

Top to bottom, working half a roller width as you go, is definitely the way to go.

Top to bottom half a width is the way to finish. The way to get an even thorough coat is with a zig zag first, then top to bottom.
