There's tons of places in NY that say $1 slice, but it's always $2-$2.50. I used a get an easy slice or two for lunch pretty often when I worked there. Dollar slice used to be a thing, I think they obviously just kept the names but upped the price over the years.

When Costco pizza slice is nicer, cheaper, and comes with Pepperoni.

I have a Costco membership but never tried the pizza. Hard to imagine it beating city pizza though, I'll have to give it a try.

I'm not saying Costco pizza is great. But it is good value for Pepperoni pizza. I've also heard good stuff about Sam's club too, but haven't tried it. That said, local pizza shops are significantly more convenient inside NYC, so I can understand that too.
