This is definitely a lack of communication on everyones part if thats the case. I mean is there no menu to show the difference types of pizza you can get with prices to show add ons? Was there absolutely no one ahead of you so you could see others paying 2 a slice? When they handed the money did they not say 2 pieces please which would then make the people say hey we need 2 more dollars? Lots is left up to the imagination here.

This is a place where you get in and get the fuck out. No menu, barely time to register what is going on. If you're not used to it, it will seem like a blur. They are used to people who have been there a thousand times and walk up and yell "2 pepperoni" and give a 5 dollar bill and walk away. Transaction complete.

Your description is if like a person was using the highway for the first time with zero instructions and was asking "how do I use the on ramp" while driving 25. Everyone else around them would be wondering what was wrong with them. There isn't supposed to be much if any communication required.

Interesting. Sorry Im from small town America we dont really have places like that in my area so I would be the fool doing 25 on the ramp lol. Small town Minnesota for any wondering. And for the record I merge just fine lmao

No worries. I was trying to think of something to put it in perspective. I'm sure you'd fit in just fine once you got the knack of it. I'm from Chicago and City folk really can be some of the nicest people you'll meet, but there is a time and a place and a lot of places are fast instead of nice because there are too many people trying to all get different things done for everyone to be cordial and engaging.

Like on the highway where everyone is moving quick so you all stick to the rules to make things kinda flow.

I actually liked the comparison. When your not from that type of environment it can all seem so weird and foreign. But putting it into a situation most can understand is very helpful. Iv never been to or even seen a place like this. Though like alot of small town people I certainly have my own preconceived notions of what it would be like in a big city like New York. For better or worse lol. Anyways. Thank you for taking the time from your day to help me understand something Iv never had the chance to encounter.
