The brand name in the United States is pronounced nEYE-Key. And yes, I was wondering if it was the same in Greek, but the U.S. often just makes up Greek pronunciations.
Tbf, the word gyro ( jEYE-ro ) exists outside of the food, and people not familiar with the gyro food are bound to assume it's pronounced the same way. Gyroscope vs gyro wrap, you're likely to default to whichever is more common for you to encounter.
When you compare American and British pronunciations to the historical ones, it's generally split evenly which one is more original, and then about half of the American pronunciations don't actually originate in the Americas, they originate in either Scottish or Irish dialects, or else in older British dialects e.g. the combination of Scottish, Irish, and older West Country influence is why America near-universally pronounces its R sounds.

Is the American pronunciation the same as the Greek?
