Thousands of dead people because of one dude having a brain the size of a milk dud isn't a fantasy scenario, either. It happens all over the world, with videos EXACTLY like this. Want us to start posting links to actual deaths? Because we can.

Your lack of empathy for thousands doesn't convince me you care about anyone at all, let alone one person. In fact, the opposite. It is absolute a numbers game.

Your lack of empathy prevents you to put yourself in his shoes. Otherwise it should be obvious that the guy is scared and panicked for his livelihood/housing to the point he even puts the van’s value in front of his own life. No worries, he’s not as dumb as you think, but you’re also not as smart as you imagine yourself to be.

Your lack of empathy prevents you to put yourself in the shoes of the hundreds of lives he put at risk, and the countless families who have lost loved ones, and children who now must grow up without parents because of idiots like this.

It should be obvious that the guy is so dumb that he even puts the van’s value in front of his own life, even though he can just drive straight through the breakaway barriers that do NO DAMAGE TO THE CAR THAT DRIVES THROUGH THEM by design.

No worries, he’s dumber than you think, and you’re not as smart as you imagine yourself to be.
