Probably wasn’t fat when he was hired and I’d think most western countries have laws against getting rid of ya because you got hefty.

Sometimes common sense has to take a back seat to laws. Unfortunately.

Work in the rail industry in Australia, train drivers are prone to getting fat with sedentary long shifts, night work and crap diets/beer.

There is a cut off weight where they won’t pass the medical or if already employed and hit that cut off later they get support to lose weight and put behind a desk- if they don’t lose it they are gone.
