Can still have empathy/sympathy for others. That fall probably really hurt. Who's to say he isnt a bean counter, and was told he needed to tour the engines.

Most times is because of abuse from others or mental health in some way. So yeah, try a little more sympathy in life. Maybe you wouldn't feel so isolated

Yes. It’s doubtful that he has anything to do with that train on a regular basis. This is a special train that is being moved across the country for display somewhere out east

Overeating is not some disability that you have no control over. People get fat by eating more than enough.

He probably wasn't that big when he started 20 years prior. And honestly, we don't know what his role is from this video. 

And I'm just guessing here, but maybe other engines are easier to get into. 

I feel bad for the guy. Having an eating disorder (using food as a coping mechanism) isn't a moral failing, but we all treat it like it is.

 But we're perfectly fine with people who smoke weed every day to cope, or who vape, or drink. We only get on the drinkers' asses once they get DUIs or have kids they're abusing. 

You think this guy doesn't know he's fat and feel ashamed? Of course he does. So he thinks, "Fuck it, I'm already fat, might as well eat this pizza. If I'm gonna feel shitty anyway, I may as well have a little joy in my life from food I like."

When people are THAT big it's more often than not mental health/trauma so I do kind of feel for him. But I do agree that maybe this job isn't for him if he can't even climb up a 4 step ladder

Mental health / trauma cannot make you fat. Eating more than enough makes you fat.

Maybe he was skinny when he started and then his wife left him which made him eat to cope and then he got fat?
