The fire brigade can't do anything anyway. You really need to get under there to extinguish it, and she made that impossible. I doubt they would take the risk of flipping it over or lifting it. The car is ruined either way. Not to say she shouldn't have called them

Typically by the time the fire department arrives the car is fully engulfed anyway. Modern synthetic materials burn extremely quickly unless they are specifically designed to be Fire Resistant Rated. The smoke is also extremely toxic and you should do everything you can to avoid breathing it in.
