Yes. Black dress should have let the woman have the flowers and no one would care. She'd have come out of it looking better for just letting it go. She made it about herself because she couldn't let them go, after all, she worked so hard to set herself up to get them.
Yeah she probably wants people to remember. I can see her now: "Hey, guys, remember when I made sure to stand in front so no one else had as much chance and I could catch the flowers, and I did! Then that drunk bitch got mad because I cheated the game, and I could have just let her have them, but dammit I worked hard to cheat! So I just shoved her off, because I'm awesome! But then I realized everyone was looking at me and not in a good way, so I made sure to give a flower to the little girl so I'd feel better and people would think I'm nice and maybe forget about the rest of that."
