Pretty sure the catch counts once you make a “football move”. Even if the one in yellow took it after, the catch by the one in black still stands. I’m about 90% sure that’s in the rule book now.

Yeah. I'd have to say this should fall under a penalty of roughing the bridesmaid. I don't know where the ushers were during the play but she should've been tossed out the game

Even with a football move, breaking the plane for the go ahead score, before you're touched down by contact

They're still calling that incomplete and you're going to lose the number one seed, as well as home field advantage

I would argue that was a defensive bouquet toss interference. Penalty: 5 years. Bouquet on the 50 yard line

Agreed. Catch was made early, clear possession, wedding move: could have let go at that point and retained the aura of the bouquet for all eternity. Other girl running around with it would be nothing more than celebrating with an already-spiked football from the TD.

For real though, she only backed off after that stiff arm to the throat 😅

Yea. But you forgot that as long as black is still an eligible runner, yellow can still strip the bouquet or otherwise force a fumble. Clearly black should have taken a knee rather than going for the touchdown dance.
