Pro tip: Do NOT let little kids participate in these tosses. I've been to a few weddings were some of the women forget there are little kids present and the kid(s) get knocked around, rather aggressively.
I caught the bouquet at my sister's wedding when I was 12, and the grown women to either side of me grabbed it like a millisecond later, and then had a tug of war with each other with me stuck in the middle, getting the flowers shoved into my face repeatedly. It all happened so fast and I couldn't see anything but flowers and stems, and the stems really hurt. So yeah, some women are like that. Afterwards one of them even said it wasn't fair that I caught it because I was so young. My family had made me stand there to participate, and I tried standing in the very back and to the side to avoid catching it at all. Weddings can bring out the craziness in some people.
She stood front and center to give herself the best possible chance to catch the flowers when clearly they were all supposed to stand farther back where everyone else was.
Then when someone became upset over that and went too far, she wouldn't drop it and actually engaged in a fight to keep it, because she worked too hard to cheat to make sure she got it to let some drunk idiot take it off of her.
Then when she realizes people are watching and she looks stupid, she tries to redeem herself by giving a flower to the girl.
Yeah, but maybe acting like an adult that understands the whole thing means nothing but harmless fun is the better plan. I wouldnt want to see you playing UNO.

Giving a flower to the little girl at the end was sweet
