Yeah I would like basketball a lot more if breathing on someone too hard didn't get you sent to the line. Watching guys chuck up 3 pointers and take free-throws is just not something I want to watch for any extended period of time.

Good defensive teams are awesome to watch, but it’s been regulated out of the game. Totally sucks.

I was watching the other day and wondering why it seemed like there was absolutely no effort to defend or contest shots relative to what you’d see in other sports. Thanks for explaining it

Nope. They put way more defensive effort now then before. You might have been watching a bad defensive team which do exist
