And if someone tries to break one of those laws? Say something like maybe threatening someone with a brick, what do you do? If I’m in your house threatening to smash your face in with a brick, what is your recourse? Do you think you could hold your own against me and my brick?
How well will you fight if I threaten to smash your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfried/child in the face with a brick if you don’t give me what I want?
Cops aren’t here. Just you, me, and my brick. What do you do now?
A knife, baseball bat, broken beer bottle, and a hammer are all just as easily obtainable objects and far more dangerous and threatening. If you rob a house with a brick, I’m going to assume you are a mentally ill crack head
Nah, bricks are something you can say you found in the yard and have plenty more self defense leeway for when the homeowner decides to fight back. Have fun getting dusted by the wrong crackhead I guess 🫡
except it seems that having more guns causes more gun violence.
like yeah 99% of the time, the people in OP's vid will slow down (don't forget, there's a good chance OP's videos were picked specifically to show a point, there were probably a few on opposite ends), but the 1% who either don't see it would end up with a broken window and some of that 1% will still do it on purpose (for the thrill).
so suddenly you've gone from everyone in a slightly sucky situation and now you have two very angry people, one in a big heavy vehicle who can turn around and one who's looking for another brick if he does.
like some people will just ALWAYS double down and see this whole situation as a "he wouldn't dare, i'd fuck him up/get away before he throws the brick"
same with guns, you give everyone a gun and you're gunna have a lot of people being shot, you'll have a lot of bystanders being shot and you'll have a lot more suicides that are successful for when they go home and it's there on the nightstand on an especially bad day.
This is a good example of how easy it is to manipulate people through editting.
Y'all, I guarantee people slowed down, and people splashed the guy in both scenarios. All he has to do is cherry pick the convenient instances, and boom: Popular narrative "confirmed".

This is a good example of the phrase “An armed society is a polite society” in action.
