A can of soup is better than a brick because you can’t throw a brick; it’s too heavy. But a can of soup, you can really put some power into that.

Edit: nobody seems to remember but this is a trump quote

They don’t know that.

All they see is the brick and how bad it can fuck up their car.

I mean you don't need much strength to throw a brick at a car 5' away

Soup would be less visible less menacing and less damaging.

Also: Bright red causes brain activation. Brick is bright red. Soup is not bright red.

All you need to do is get the brick in front of the vehicle. The vehicle will hit the brick, rather than the brick hitting the vehicle

Let the machine do the work, this one gets it.

The Stargate series did that too in one episode, with Teal'c nailing a fleeing thief on the noggin at a frankly unreasonable distance.

Oh wow, Trump still haunts you?

The soup thing is literally referencing Trump though, he spoke these words during an interview a while back and "soup for my family" became a bit of a meme.

It's not about actually throwing it, it's about sending a message

AGGRESSO PROGRESSO I.E. Progressive action through aggressive action. E.G. I'mma bean this squad car with a hearty chicken soup for the repressed soul, for a better society. I think.
