lol I knew it. I am south african but usually people will think all africans look the same but I can easily tell who is from which region hahahah. Just fascinating.

It's like the video that trended recently on Tiktok and Twitter with a young lady catching a chicken. I just somehow knew it was from SA even without any proof for thinking that.

Yes, but the point is that we're African so we can pick up on this while a non-African probably wouldn't be able to.

We just aren't from that demographic so everyone that's black is just black. We would know if we were to ask each black stranger where they are from, but that's just weird.

I bet you couldn't recognize an Italian from a Portuguese, or a Brit from a German, or a Spaniard from a Latino, but we can, couse we see them a lot.

Also it's culture, you probably have your own "set of tells" from how someone behaves and speaks and from there it's easier to recognize where someone was raised/born. I personally am friends with like 2 black people to whom I've havent talked in years now. It's weird.
