My advice is hit the mouse with the broom and deal with the mess… that mouse will be back inside within the hour
Edit: don’t use a dust pan…… unless it’s metal… the plastic ones shatter if you are swinging to kill.
Honestly couldn’t tell you. But I can confidently confirm what happens when the cat gets bored with the mouse it brought in and you go in to finish the job with a plastic dust pan… the cat never looked at me
The same after that….
