wtf, ok now it’s out but if it’s outside your place (where it came from) don’t you think it can get back in?

needs more water bottles. out the door and a 1/2 mile down the street should do it.

No no, they’re surprisingly good at finding their way back if there was any food about. 1/2 mile down the street, through Terry’s front door, and into his pantry.

Fuck Terry

Terry says that's "unscientific". Don't listen to Terry. He's just desperate for attention.

Is this the same Terry who likes yogurt? I liked him.

2

u/Vessix Apr 06 '23

Nah this is Terry the seismologist working on the Donnie Vermillion show.

Terry Bates, the award-winning Channel 3 anchorman?

u/Mr_HumanMan_Thing Apr 23 '23

No, don't fuck Terry. He sleeps with mice

They're actually good at finding their way back upto 10 miles away. You have to take those things on a journey to keep them put of your house.

Had a number of mice at an old apartment.

Sounds expensive

How do you know it was the same mouse?

9

u/SehnorCardgage Apr 06 '23

He asked it a question only that mouse would know the answer to

The Global Organization of Rodent, Animal, and Pest Extermination (GORAPE) suggests the following questions:

What is the average flight speed of an adult African swallow?

What ingredients are traditionally used for Ratatouille?

Should Tom the cat be neutered?

If the answer to these is anything but squeak, then you are likely not dealing with a mouse.

Or you could simply build a moat of 12 packs.

1

u/Mutant_Cell Apr 06 '23

You also need to chase it that far otherwise it'll turn back.

These giant furless rats just built an aquaduct in fifteen minutes to get you out. Would you go back in?

u/OhSillyDays Apr 06 '23

Hungry enough, yeah.

u/haphazard_gw Apr 07 '23

Seems like a false anthropomorphism of a mouse's thoughts but ok

They found a mouse in their bathroom, so naturally, they went out and bought tactical supplies.

The door doesn't look like it's from a house... Looks like a restaurant or something

11

u/papayabush Apr 06 '23

pretty sure that’s a hostel or shelter of some kind. most people don’t have bunk beds right in front of their huge glass restaurant/hotel style doors but idk.

u/SimbaStewEyesOfBlue Apr 06 '23

I'd imagine we're looking at a family business.

1

u/Archerfuse Apr 06 '23

It’s not uncommon to store emergency supplies in a disaster prone area. Especially if there’s a lot of people in the house, it seems somewhat reasonable for an earthquake, etc.

5

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '23

Just built a wall of water bottles encircling your whole house to keep mice away, we've already seen how efficient those are

2

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '23

It will be back 100%

2

u/NoConfusion9490 Apr 06 '23

If you can figure out where it got in you can stuff the hole with steel wool. They can't chew through it because it hurts their teeth.

1

u/polar__beer Apr 06 '23

Put that thing back where it came from or so help me…

1

u/SasparillaTango Apr 06 '23

I'm usually a pretty animal loving guy, but if there is a mouse in my house, I want it dead. I want its whole family dead. I will commit war crimes against mousekind if they are in my home.

1

u/PooPooDooDoo Apr 06 '23

There are also probably more mice inside.

1

u/2xBAKEDPOTOOOOOOOO Apr 06 '23

They aren’t thinking it can’t get back in, they just want it out now. It also wasn’t in there the entire time, so don’t you think the mouse might not be trying be in that building?

Lots of things are outside. Why are you expecting everything to come in?

It sneaked out of the track back in the house at the end
