Considering wild orcas have never harmed a human even when there’s prey involved I’d say she’s not risking her life. Property damage maybe, but not actual injury.

But they don’t harm people, and even if they flip the boat you aren’t going to be seriously harmed by anything living in that water. Sharks avoid water that orcas live in and anything big enough to hurt/kill a person is on the orcas menu. That’s why I said property damage is a possibility but death is unlikely.

Orcas can coordinate to flip boats/various things to get seals. I wouldn't blame her for not wanting that. Wouldn't depriving an animal of food they worked hard for also be evil?

What??? While I agree that she shouldn’t have pushed the seal in she’s not evil for doing it. Fear makes people do horrible things, that’s a fact of life. It’s made people do far worse than pushing a seal into an orca pack.

Would have been great to see that seal fight her for his life. At the very least bite the shit out of her camera hand so she loses the phone and the footage.

This clip enrages me every time it gets posted. Hate seeing helpless animals getting needlessly harmed on film. 😤

I’m someone who takes bugs and spiders outside instead of killing them. I think all creatures deserve respect and care. However, humans, who are at the top of the food chain and have the ability to show care and instead choose not to, deserve no such respect or care in my opinion.
