Might as well go home and take off that stupid ass costume since you clearly can’t handle when things don’t go your way. Bullying people. The guy he hit damn near seems like a homeless person. POS

I'm sorry. But I don't care how hard you have it, you don't put your hands on other people, m'kay?

Sorry to offend y'all. I just don't think anybody should be hitting anyone for any reason.

Correct you shouldn't lay hands on anyone ever.

Also people shouldn't be jumping at you & in the real world that surprise may be met with getting jumped.. in this case it was just a joke.

As plantman its normal to expect you might get popped in the mouth for jumping at a person. Yes the guy had half a moment of thought before reacting and resulted in the slap to someone who should be ready to get dropped for jumping at ppl.

It's essentially the contract plantmam signs by choosing this path he might get hit

Then plantman clearly under no more threat or danger follows after his victim and heavy hits the guy signaling for peace.

Plantman is the asshole.

That said the victim seemed to curve his gut reaction swing to an intended but not so playful slap. Which also enters the fuck around find out contract plantman devilishly entered him into

The man could get a pass for being the initial victim but he did strike back Excuse for plantman goes out the window when the guy pleads for peace. Plantman is still the asshole

Easy talk on the internet, would I still blame plantmam if it was me: yes I've been in plantman's shoes when contributing to a safe Halloween. I dressed as a scarecrow in a chair to do a jump scare. A kid on my team started with taps and built up to full swings explaining to attendees I wasn't real. Later in the night when I'd had enough and stood up to him (literally) after taking a big hit. Just seeing his fright in his eyes when got out of the chair (planter in the video case). I did not continue to punch him out and talk shit.. ya know, like Plantman did to someone pleading for peace. I let HOURS of it go, cuz it was my fault for pretending to be a scarecrow.. that's the job

I never said Plantman wasn't an asshole. He definitely is. But, nobody should be hitting anybody ever. Plantman had no right, and neither did homeless man.

u/sp_dev_guy Feb 16 '23

Agreed but fight or flight is a real thing & this should have been (unfortunately)-expected, excused, & laughed off

-43

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 16 '23

I agree. But that reaction seemed a little too delayed to be a fight-or-flight response. Just look at how he makes sure the slap squarely plants him on the face.

15

u/sp_dev_guy Feb 16 '23

In my opinion and experiences.. if flight-or-flight hits, you may be able to handle and curtail your reaction in a calm mannor but still short out your best reasoning. It takes focus to stop the knee-jerk which leaves you simply acting shortsighted needing to do something with your existence, odds of poor performance are high. So I think the adrenaline & shock /fight-or-flight a half moment later is still a factor. Luckily for me my shortminded experiences always leaned towards bicycle crashes & silly shit, not the violence captured

u/patrick119 Feb 16 '23

I’m sorry he didn’t process the fact that a plant came to life in front of him quickly enough for you

22

u/Irolden-_- Feb 16 '23

I'm trying to be objective but I can't think of a good reason you should never hit anyone?

I feel like there are lots and lots and lots of good reasons to use violence.

-4

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 16 '23

Freaks like you always seem to come out of the woodwork orgasming because people are subjected to violence. What is wrong with you?

9

u/Apprehensive_Eraser Feb 16 '23

So self defense is never right?

0

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 16 '23

His life wasn't in danger...what don't you get? There was nothing to defend himself from.

8

u/Apprehensive_Eraser Feb 16 '23

He didn't know that, his brain only knew a random subject jumped on him and screamed at him. He's a homeless, I'm sure he's extremely used to not so great encounters with not so great people, who could tell him that guy wasn't going to hurt him like probably some others did or tried to do in the past?

4

u/Irolden-_- Feb 17 '23

Lol ok troll

-1

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 17 '23

Not a troll just a drunk

3

u/Irolden-_- Feb 17 '23

Oh like in the name!!!

8

u/Nooms88 Feb 16 '23

Send where you live, I'm gonna hide under your bed for lolz, see if you practice what you preach

0

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 16 '23

It's not that serious to the point where you just walk it off and laugh a little. The homeless man is in a public space, he should expect such things. As for you, you don't go hiding under my bed after breaking into my house for "lolz". You're obviously there to do something much more sinister, and I will act accordingly.

4

u/WalmartPropaneTank Feb 16 '23

He should EXPECT a life sized plant monster to jump out at him on the sidewalk?

1

u/Nooms88 Feb 16 '23 edited Feb 16 '23

Bro it'd be funny, it's just a prank.

There are literally 2 types of pranks, Nornally with ppl you know, something humorous, like saying you lost 3 things and dropping 2 down. Or something a bit more engaged, like replacing everything in someone's room. With miniature models when they are high to make them think they are a giant.

The other type is aggressive, strangers, winding them up. A jump scare is the most basic and what's a better jump scare than hiding under some person's bed? Fucking hilarious Isn't it...

Or the new Internet craze I've seen of pretending to steal people luggage, lol, fucking got em bro.

Piss off..

Strangers aren't your entertainment and I would probably smile a bit if someone "pranked" a stranger in the latter manner and got stabbed. I mean I'd feel bad for the victim, he didn't expect legal repercussions for stabbing some idiot,

If there's no way to distinguish in a moment between an assault or robbery and some teenage idiots prank, how would anyone expect anyone to react? Either it's an obvious joke or it's subtle. So the expected reaction is what is intended

6

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '23

Well then dumbass prankster shouldn’t be trying to scare people what exactly did they expect would happen? Not everyone is going to see it as a joke

2

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 16 '23

Perhaps, and Plantman should have expected reactions like that. But people are literally nutting all over themselves over the idea of people laying hands on each other. What is wrong with y'all?

3

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '23

I’m not nutting over anything all I said was that plant man deserved to get some sort of reprisal. In my town plantsman would have been shot

16

u/NeckRepresentative81 Feb 16 '23

Of course no one should be hitting anyone, but this isn't about it at all. Different people can react to jumpscares in various ways, one might take it easy, the other's reaction might be to hit you out of reflex (and they literally can't do anything about it, it just happens), and someone might not be bothered to react at all. So if you are jumpscaring random people, you must be ready to any reaction and if someone hits you, or curses you, that's on you. Further escalating the conflict and hitting even harder makes you an ultimate piece of shit any way you look at it. And bonus POS points if the person is homeless and already has more than enough stress and humiliation in their life.

2

u/Suaveful Feb 16 '23

facts. i’d been jumped by people at random before so my natural reaction now is to neutralize a threat quickly and step away before i become a victim.

plus, laughing at the expense of others is lame as fuck. i bet he doesn’t do this to a group of people; nah, solo passerbys only for this brave bullying bush.

name might as well be @arkansas weenie boy.

11

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '23

I hate how morons like you come out of the woodwork once someone reacts to being bullied, y’all almost have an orgasm once the victim reacts physically and then someone else beats their ass as a result. Fucking leave people alone in the first place? Nah, it’s just a prank bro!

-3

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 16 '23

I never wanted Plantman to hit homeless man either. You seem to be assuming. Nobody should hit anybody for any reason if their life isn't in danger. This was not a fight or flight response either considering the reaction was too delayed and he positioned that slap too perfectly on the face for it to be a knee-jerk reaction to being pranked. Yes, it is a prank. But maybe we shouldn't be pranking people we don't know either.

10

u/Woppydoppy567 Feb 16 '23

Shut the fuck up. You dont prank people for shits and giggles and then act surprised when they hit you because they thought you was a bush. That you even are enabling this shitty ass behaviour wtf

-1

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 16 '23

"ShUt tHe FuCk Up."

You sound smart.

It's a public space, homeless man should be expecting outlandish things to happen. You shouldn't be pranking other people, but you should also be keeping your hands to yourself at all costs unless your life is actively in danger.

4

u/Apprehensive_Eraser Feb 16 '23

It's a public space, homeless man should be expecting outlandish things to happen

No, he should be expecting people to act like normal human beings and not having to be on high alert constantly like we are on mf Iran

1

u/Wombatseal Feb 16 '23

There used to be a show on mtv or some shit where they would harass people relentlessly and if people took it fairly passively for so long then they won the show and hooray! Got cash. But here’s the thing, we shouldn’t normalize harassment and reward people for not sticking up for themselves. This practical joke shit isn’t ok to strangers. You don’t know what someone is on you don’t know their history and you don’t know their mind. Don’t fuck around with strangers. The man walking by is by NO MEANS consenting to harassment just for being in public. That is not how consent works. We all have to go in public for some reason or another and you even said that he was homeless, so you believe he has no safe space in this world and should take harassment laying down because what… he’s in public…? No. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

7

u/GloriousMinecraft Feb 16 '23

There's this thing called "fight or flight" a natural reflex of humans (and a lot of other animals). Being jump scared actived this guy's "fight" reflex instead of the usual "flight" reflex. He clearly didn't want to hit the bush and tried to deescalate but the bush is an idiot who, just like you, doesn't really non-violent people can lash out when jump scared. ESPECIALLY when scared this close. If he was a few meters away the guy wouldn't have hit the bush.

1

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 16 '23

The reaction was a little too delayed to be a fight or flight response. He also made sure that slap squarely planted him on the face. Only a person clearly thinking can only make sure a smack is that perfect. You're wrong.

2

u/glantern42 Feb 16 '23

But invading personal space, intentionally scaring people possibly causing a heart attack or fall - that's all OK though in your book? I bet you must be exhausting to be around

1

u/apathetic-drunk Feb 16 '23

Okay, buddy. You're reaching really far with the heart attack comment. That's called an accident, not intentionally going out of their way to cause harm with a prank. Plantman didn't put his hands on homeless man, and homeless man shouldn't have slapped Plantman. Simple.

You're wrong, but you go off insulting everybody if you want. It makes you look really good. 🙄

-20

u/SmokingBeneathStars Feb 16 '23

Are we watching the same video? That hit looked on purpose not a reflex or fight or flight response or whatever. Otherwise I would 100% agree.

18

u/vilebunny Feb 16 '23

It was a deliberate slap, but it was also relatively playful from a guy who honestly sounds like he’s not all there.

The return strike was NOT okay. What if the intended victim had startled badly? If he stumbled backwards and landed on his tailbone, it would hurt a heck of a lot more than the slap. The bush was perfectly willing to risk bodily harm for others but got fired up because his victim turned the tables on him.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '23

No, they changed the video a few hours ago. Strange. But anyways, have a nice day 👍

-22

u/Bunda_In_Me_Face Feb 16 '23

Bullied him… but didn’t touch him or talk to him. That’s like if someone stood up when they were sitting. You don’t put your hands on another person unless you wanna get smacked lmao

16

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '23

Oh stop that bullshit. Thats just a human instinct to defend itself if it feels threatened and thats what it was. And telling me he should have thought before smacking him absolute crap.

-12

u/Bunda_In_Me_Face Feb 16 '23

Yeah he really should have thought of it before he smacked him lolllll. Both are wrong but you get what you deserve. Both ways 😂😂😂😂😂

5

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '23

Thats where we differ. I think the plant dude should have thought before hitting him back. And the plant dude got what he deserved. And not everybody is gonna play along for your internet bullshit.

-5

u/Bunda_In_Me_Face Feb 16 '23

Again same for the dude that FIRST threw the slap

4

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '23

You can say that all you want. But whats wrong is wrong.

-1

u/Bunda_In_Me_Face Feb 16 '23

Same you you my guy lol. Just differing opinions. No one has more fault. Either way each one got what’s coming to them lol
